This session will show participants how to use the Behavioral Incident Report (BIRS) and additional tools to measure and address behavior.
The Behavioral Incident System (BIRS) is a simple data tool to document serious behaviors. When we want to change a behavior in the classroom, we collect information about the action and moments surrounding it to determine the most effective way to guide change. Together, we will explore this tool along with other data collection methods that have been shown to have positive impact.
This session is virtual only.
