Promoting Literacy with Community Partners
Book donations are one way BY5 works to achieve its mission of improving early childhood education throughout Delaware County. In addition to Little Free Libraries, BY5 distributes books through various community partnerships. Through these partnerships, BY5 distributes books to local organizations serving children and families, as well as at community events, to connect them with free books and information on early childhood literacy, like at Open Door Health Services. With access to books and reading with the caregivers in their lives, children can be prepared for kindergarten by 5!
