In this session, we will discuss the literacy competencies that children need to be successful in kindergarten.  Using a specific book, we will model strategies to use during shared reading with your children that will focus on facilitating their language, helping them to make meaning of stories, and start to learn letter sounds.  Participants will get this book as well as an infographic poster with specific strategies to use during shared reading for their classroom.
