Restorative Practices in the Schools

  • Muncie BY5 108 S Walnut St, Suite 306 Muncie, IN 47305 (map)

Restorative practices (RP) is a field within the social sciences that studies how to strengthen relationships between individuals as well as social connections within communities (iirp.org).” Essentially, RP focuses on the tools needed to build strong relationships between people and within communities. This two-day workshop will teach participants the foundations of Restorative Practices, as well as specific strategies for building relationships within the preschool classroom and beyond. Participants will leave with a folder filled with real-life applications of the power of great relationships with students, parents, and co-workers. RP is a powerful framework for any profession working with people - and you will leave this workshop with a deeper professional development portfolio! This two-day workshop includes light breakfast and catered lunch.
